Graf von Shields,
NA Prize I, UT Prize 1
When I first met Jim Shields at a NAVHDA training day I was very impressed
with his dogs, one in particular that being Graf. Named so after his father
KS Graf vom Vehner Moor. From the time Graf was a pup his cooperation and
work ethic were outstanding. Graf seemed to know exactly what Jim expected of
him.
That showed when in March at the Rappahannock Chapter test Graf
qualified NA with a Prize 1. He continued to improve with every passing day
earning a Utility Prize 1 at the age of 21 months at the Del-Val Chapter
test. Needless to say this was a pup out of Jim's first litter that no one
wanted because of his shyness. Graf is now a dog that anyone would be proud
to own. Graf is presently training for the upcoming Invitational.
On behalf of my training buddy Mark Dreyfus and myself, we wish both Jim and
Graf the best of luck at the Invitational.
